Edit Event - Added participants not retained when editing an event

Description
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open an existing event and click Edit Event.
- Add one or more participants.
- Save the event and reopen it.
Actual Result:
The added participants are not displayed when revisiting the event, because of this event updation email is not triggered to participants
Expected Result:
All added participants should be saved and displayed when the event is reopened.
Additionally success popup also not displayed.

- Add the participants
