View Relationship - [External Counsel]-[Group Head Account Only]: The Group Head is not a member of Group B, yet the document appears in the "Shared by Us" list for the Group Head. Ideally, it should not appear there.

Description

Scenario Overview:

  • Group A has one member and one Group Head.
  • Client A has two groups: Group A and Group B.
  • External Matter: "Civil Cases for Client A".
  • Group B has no members.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Log in with a Super User account.
2. Navigate to the Documents module.
3. Select the department [Group B] and the external matter [Civil Cases].
4. Browse and upload a document.
5. Go to View Relationships and select the External Counsel tab.
6. Choose the recently uploaded document under the Clients section and click Actions.
7. Select Exchange Info and then click Shared by Us.
8. Choose the document and click Share.

Issue:

  • Log in with a Group Head (GH) account.
  • Navigate to View Relationships → External Counsel tab.
  • Select a client and click Actions.
  • Go to Exchange Info → Shared by Us.
  • The Group Head, who is not a member of Group B, can still see the shared document in the list.
    This is incorrect — the document should not be visible to the Group Head if they do not belong to the group associated with the shared document.
