openMessages - Client / Team chat is not working. Messages are not received by the user.

Description
1. Login to the the user as a Super user.
2. Navigate to the Messages Module.
3. Select either "Client Chat" or "Team Chat".
4. Send a message to another user.
5. Check if the recipient receives the message.
The recipient should receive the message in real-time under the appropriate chat section (Client or Team). But it does not.
