Lauditor Version 3 Bugs » Lauditor V3 - Web » Matter Web - V3 » Matter - Functionality /API Issues

Client A belongs to Group A and Group B, both having distinct GHs.
No members are assigned to the client.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Login the Lauditor with SU User
2. Click on Matters
3. Fill the required fields
Super creates a matter with following details: client A, and Group A.
4. Click on View Matter and select the same matter
5. Select Update Groups under action
6. Select Group B [Add Group B] and click on save [Matter is initially assigned to Group A, now Group B also added]
7. Select the same matter and click on View Details
8. click on Team member tab

Issue Observed :
Owner of the matter is changed. GH of group B is now owner of the matter

Expectation :
The Super User should remain the owner of the matter because the matter is not being reassigned from one group to another. Just group is updated

• Matter ownership should follow the below rules when groups are updated.*

If a matter is created by any Team Member, GH, or Super User, then when reassigning it from Group A to Group B:

• if Group B has a GH, that GH should become the owner;
• if Group B has no GH, the Super User should remain the owner.
